In the latest soccer news, the Puerto Rico Islanders come from behind against the mighty Hondurian Marathon from a deficit of 0-1 to win 2-1. Palacios assumed the lead for Marathon as miscommunication allowed the ball to sneak into the net from a Marathon set-piece.

In the second half, it appeared that Marathon would hold on to their lead despite the Islanders excellent offensive charge. However, in the 73rd minute Nicholas Adderly received a perfect soft lobbing pass to the crown of his head which he flicked on goal tying the game 1-1.  The Islanders turned up the offensive and defensive pressure with a high work rate. Coach Colin Clarke made an excellent tactical substitution bringing in Trinidad and Tobago native, Kendall Jagdeosingh. Jagdeosingh ran on to a through ball in the left corner of the field, cut towards the post, turned right for a better angle, and rifled a shot which was slightly deflected  into the goal.
