Dear David Beckham,

Admiring you from a far at the LA Galaxy games creates the same sensation as when a women meets a hot twenty-something at the gym. Tailgating before games, fixing our hair, touching up our makeup, and adjusting our mini skirts or Lycra pants honors you during your pregame warm ups.

Words do not express the gratitude that we feel for your arrival at MLS. It would be greatly appreciated if you could come to our tent after the game and partake in a good glass of wine. Signing our Galaxy tube-tops and panties would bring joy to the newest  and greatest Supporters Club, The Galaxy Cougar Club.

Sincerely,

Galaxy Cougar Fan

Latest Soccer News: DVR Reminder February 18 2008

Posted by Joel Shirey On February - 18 - 2009

In the latest soccer news and DVR Reminder, Manchester United and Fulham FC kick off a strong day of soccer on the TV (Sentanta USA 3:00pm).Fulham FC will face the almost impossible to defeat Manchester United traveling to Old Trafford. Manchester United has only conceded 10 goals in league play and are unlikely to break against the less than stellar Fulham side which has scored 22 goals this season. Although Fulham ranks top four in goals allowed with 19 trailing only Man U, Chelsea, and Liverpool, Manchester United continues to punish its opponent netting 41 goals.

Brad Friedel and Brad Guzan of Aston Villa will face CSKA Moscow on Sentanta USA at 6 p.m.

David Beckham of AC Milan will confront Werder Bremen on Sentanta USA 7:45 p.m.  This match should display a lot of attack and goals as Werder Bremen is the top scoring team in the Bundesliga. AC Milan's offense boasts excellent attacking options such as Pato, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Ronaldino , and Seedorf. Brazilan international, Diego, will be available for the game and newly-capped German international Mesut Ozil should play bolstering their attack.

The LA Galaxy will face Oita Trinita at 11 p.m. FSC in the Pan-Pacific Championship.

What game are you most forward to watching? Do the Galaxy stand a chance without Donovan and Beckham? What will you be doing today? I know.....but I will keep it a secret.
